Saving Damsels News – 9/28/11
Hello Saving Damsels fans:
We are excited to have been interviewed by the Navajo Times writer Cindy Yurth. Pick up a copy of our first ever interview for this great publication. I’m (JJ Otero) excited since I am from the Navajo / Hopi tribes and I never dreamed anything would be written about anything I’ve done in my life. I feel blessed indeed. Below is a list of the places you can pick up your very own copy. Please bring it to a show and we will humbly authograph the paper for you.

Protected (Beauty All Around)
To coincide with the Navajo Times article due out tomorrow, we have released for online streaming one of our newest recorded songs titled “Protect (Beauty All Around).” This song is sung completely in Navajo by myself (JJ Otero) with the help of my dad Chester Otero. Enjoy, share, and let us know what you think. You can hear this tune along with the rest of the Frogville Sessions at the following:
Frogville Studio Recording with Bill Palmer
On October 8th, we will be headed back up to Santa Fe, NM to start winding down our recordings in this fantastic studio. We are privileged to be working with Bill Palmer who has kept us focused on “vibe” versus technicalilty. We sure do hope the songs you’ve heard have been a testament of his guidance. We will be focused on the final few songs to record and then start looking at album art and replication.
As always, we continue to add new shows all the time. Please support us when we come to your town or favorite watering hole. Until we see ya’ll down the road, a million thanks.
